This upcoming meetings will be one that you do not want to miss. We have the pleasure of having Ruben Rivera-Jackman,

Non-profit leader with an accomplished a 30+ year career in the housing, human and social services sectors, with practical experience in, and solid understanding of, a diverse range of management, operations and service delivery applications. Mr. Rivera-Jackman has a passion for working with and advocating on behalf of older adults and has a natural ability of providing instruction and training for adult learners. He currently serves as Co-chair for Generations Aging With Pride, and is an part-time Instructor at Seattle Central College. Mr. Rivera-Jackman is a member of the NW LGBT Senior Care Provider’s Network and certified training with the National Resource Center on LGBT Aging. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences from Pace University in New York City in 1990 and an Executive Masters in Not-for-Profit Leadership from Seattle University in 2003. Mr. Rivera-Jackman has completed a Geriatric Mental Health Specialist certificate program at University of Washington and Professional Service Coordinator Certificate from Ohio State University. He was the recipient of the 2011 American Association of Service Coordinators (AASC) President Award of Excellence. This award is given to a member who, in the opinion of the AASC President, is deserving of recognition for his/her work in the service coordination profession.
